Indians and Jews

Jewish people are overrepresented in many areas of life such as Nobel prizes and  billionaires.  Its interesting to note that Ashekenazi jews rate highly on the IQ scale.  The area they have the greatest advantage over others though is on the verbal portion of the IQ test.  If I compare Indians and Jews, both value intellect, but the problem with Indians is we stop there.  We place no emphasis on the value of eloquence and argumentation; or even the assertiveness necessary in Western society.  Lacking these traits, it seems to put quite a limit on how far we can go.  Another thing- Jews tend to be broad-minded and understand that a tightly-knit community is something that is not just a wise investment in the community’s long term interests, but in their own.  Rare is it you see a wealthy Indian thinking about anyone’s benefit but his own.  His contribution is little more than a shooting star, and when it fades, it was as though it was never there.  At first this Indian trait seems to be more selfishness, but really it is also a kind of stupidity and narrowmindedness in terms of limiting one person’s overall contribution to the world he leaves behind.  Jews are not objective; they are highly subjective in favor of their own.  The result of thinking beyond themselves and selfish notions (“each man for himself”) as well as pious ‘objectivity’ is that they have done better than any other community on planet Earth.  Maybe Indians would be wise to learn from what has worked.
